NEWS : The Smartphone market – First quarter of 2013
Here are the statistics on the Smartphone shipments during the first quarter of 2013:
- 75% of all smartphones sold worldwide were Android phones;
- 17.3% were Apple phones (Apple lost 6% to Android year-over-year);
- 3.2% were Microsoft Windows Phones (Of which 79% where Nokia phones running under Windows Phone OS);
- 2.9% were BlackBerry.

Raspberry Pi has just launched the Raspberry Pi Zero. It boasts some pretty impressive specs, despite its price point. It comes with a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, and can output to a 1080p screen using HDMI at 60 frames a second. There is no onboard storage at all, but it comes with a Micro SD card slot so users can pick how much memory they think they need. Here is the link to an article with more details:
