Recently I viewed an excellent PBS Nova series on Netflix: “How we got to now with Steven Johnson”. This 6 episodes’ series reviews human developments over time, mostly from the last two centuries, that have fashioned the world we live in today and now take for granted. The ideas brought forward by unknown individuals over time have initiated chain reactions of other ideas that have made the world we live in today and guide future developments. New ideas come from a network of other ideas. Humans come up with ideas that fashion them in return. To learn more, click on the following hyperlink:

Watching the YouTube video Future Technology Secrets – Science Technology Documentary 2015 on quantum mechanics was a revelation for me. This video, produced by PBS Nova, opens an understanding on how to look at the world that has forever changed my perspective of the universe. Since everything, including ourselves, is made of atoms and particles, quantum mechanics opens up a new perspective on how to look at the universe from now on. This video will stimulate all the cells of your brain and may lose you at times. Watch the full video as it should enlighten you about the possibilities it opens up for the future. It should also contribute to the understanding of the possible instant beginning of the universe and its possible instant end into a black hole. Both unsettling and bewildering for the brain!!!
